Talk with our staff before you come. There are a few things though that you should anticipate needing that will make the process easier and more comfortable.

On your day of surgery, there are several things you should consider bringing with you:
Comfortable clothing
Sweat pants or loose fitting clothing is preferable. You want something that is easy to slip down and pull back up. Tight jeans do not feel good on a potentially sore scrotum.
Frozen water bottles or ice packs
Ice helps reduce discomfort as well as bruising and swelling. You will want to use ice on the scrotum for the first 24 hours as much as possible. Keeping extra ice packs or water bottles in a cooler will help keep them cold until needed. Crushed ice in a bag can work as well, but frozen bottles are more comfortable and last longer.
A washcloth and perhaps a towel
The washcloth can be placed under the scrotum for support. This is more comfortable than a jock strap until you are back on your feet. If the ice sweats or is too cold, a towel is useful as a buffer around the ice.
Supportive underwear
Once you are back on your feet, supportive underwear or a jock can be more comfortable.
Tylenol
Adding Tylenol to the pain medication you will be provided with can be of benefit. Taking it around 3 pm and again at bedtime. Most people do not need it beyond the first day, but you can add it if you have a period of more soreness.
Slip on Shoes
Many men like their boots, but trying to get this on and off can be difficult. Slip on shoes just add another layer to your comfort and ease.
