I want you to be as confident as possible in your decision to utilize our services before scheduling your vasectomy reversal procedure. Most of our patients prefer to have their preoperative consultation performed on the same day as their procedure, especially those who have traveled great distances to have this procedure performed.
If your time is not as critical and you would like to meet me face to face and get to know me before scheduling your surgery, I invite you to schedule a no obligation consultation free of charge. If you do so however, please understand that this service is not offered at no cost to me and I greatly appreciate your timely arrival and/or contact if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment time. I encourage you to bring your spouse or your partner with you for this visit. They often have more questions than you will.
Vasectomy reversal costs vary greatly from location to location and from physician to physician. Because of our high volume, we are able to offer this service at a considerably better price than many lower volume facilities. In fact, I am not aware of any other American University trained American Board of Urology certified urologist that is offering this service for a better price. This is not to say that vasectomy reversal costs are not substantial, but this procedure can be performed effectively and expertly for a reasonable out of pocket cost, also taking account of the travel cost associated with getting here for this procedure. Many surgeons and facilities utilize add-on billing codes for the use of a surgical microscope. Some charge more for this than our total fee. This may hide some of the obvious cost of the procedure initially. There are also costs associated with the initial consultation and follow-up visits. I include all of these in our one price, period.
It is easy and sometimes prudent to be doubtful. We occasionally hear concerns expressed as to why our price is not as high as most other major locations, or why others quote one price similar to ours only to learn that there are other personnel, supply, and facility charges that are extra. It is by choice and by conviction that I try to make vasectomy reversal surgery more affordable. To say that I believe this is what God wants me to do with my life means little if I don’t try to make this within reach of the average person. Our volume and our dedication to this service allow us to keep our price affordable. It is my desire to make this procedure available to as many people as I can.
