Michael P Daniel, MD
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia in 1981, graduating with honors, and receiving a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Chemistry. I then continued my medical education at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta Georgia. I received my Doctor of Medicine degree in 1985 from Emory University. One week later, I married the love of my life, Joan Hug, and we moved to Memphis, Tennessee to begin my internship and residency training at the University of Tennessee and the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center. In 1988, my wife and I moved to Birmingham, Alabama where I continued my training as a Urological resident. I received my urological and microsurgical training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I served as chief resident and received extensive microsurgical training and certification while in Birmingham. After completing my Urological residency training, my family and I moved to Burlington, North Carolina, to begin private practice.
I was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1994 and again recertified in 2004. I maintain active membership in the American Urological Association, as well as many other professional and medical organizations. I remain blessed with my wife Joan, and three wonderful children: Nicole, Garrett, and Stephanie. I am an active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree.
I have chosen to dedicate my practice to microsurgical vasectomy reversal procedures primarily for my own personal religious reasons and experiences. These experiences have led me to believe that this is what God wants me to do.
